***SWIM NIGHT:
NEXT WED (21 Jan 2015) is a sports night, we will be going to the Lawson for some Swimming. Cadets WILL MEET AND BE PICKED UP AT THE ARMOURY at the normal time. NO Uniforms. Cadets need to bring:
– Proper swim attire
– Towel
– Money (.25) for the locker
***Field Training Exercise: (FTX)
The Squadron is conducting a Winter ftx on 23-25 Jan 2015 at Camp Saskadet (near Wadena). Kit lists will be handed out shortly. If you have not yet signed up, please do so on Wed night.
Range
There will be Range on Sunday from 12-3pm. If you are interested in being on the Range team, this is your last shot to try-out. selections will be made after this practice based on the years results so far. Please see Capt Sweitzer if you have any questions.
Moch Selection boards:
Those cadets that are applying for National courses (senior cadets), there will be a moch selection board (for you to practice) on Sunday 18 Jan from 1:00-3:00pm. You are Required to wear you full uniform.
Volleyball:
There will be volleyball on Sunday from 3:30-4:30pm. Wear proper sports attire.
Curling:
If you are interested in being on the Curling team, Curling will start on Tues 13 Jan 2015 and go every Tuesday from 5:00-6:00pm at the Tartan Curling Club on Broadway Ave. No equipment is required. If you are interested please signup.
Sports Competition:
Region HQ is conducting a sports day in our area on Saturday 17 Jan. If you are an older Cadet and wish to help with officiating, please see Capt Giesinger on Wed night.
Band:
There will be a Band practice from 12:30-1:30pm on Sunday for those Cadets in Band.
Flight Sims:
There will be flight sims on Sunday from 3pm-5pm on Sunday. Signup if interested
Vimy Ridge:
As advertised last year, the Easter Trip in 2017 will be to London and France. The main objective is to participate in the Vimy Ridge 100th anniversary. If you are interested, please see Lt K. Drew for details and register on-line at EF Tours site.
