The November Commanding Officers Parade (CO’s Parade) was a little different this month, marking the end of cadet training for two cadets. Two distinguished cadets, WO1 Andersen, M and WO2 Andersen, E participated in their final parade just hours before aging out of the program. Both cadets have given a lot to the squadron as well to their fellow cadets, providing leadership and mentorship.
WO2 Andersen, E accomplished a great deal over the past two years, including completing the Glider Pilot Training Course as well as the Power Pilot Training Course, and building flying hours by participating in familiarization flights with cadet units in Moose Jaw. Since completing these programs, WO2 Andersen, E. has been a strong advocate for the program, demonstrating what one can achieve through hard work and setting an excellent example for future aspiring pilots.
WO1 Andersen, M demonstrated exceptional leadership and mentorship, always leading by example and providing guidance to fellow cadets. Whether through organizing activities, offering advice, or simply lending a helping hand, WO1 Andersen, M consistently went above and beyond, embodying the true spirit of teamwork and leadership. WO1 Andersen, M has set a strong precedent for future cadets to aspire to.

In addition to the graduation of these two accomplished cadets, several promotions were handed out. The newly promoted cadets included Fsgt Keller, Sgt Mannal, Sgt Nasir, FCpl Canning, and Cpl Schmidt, Bravo Zulu Cadets.
The Top Flight flag was awarded to Dragon Flight for their second month in a row. WO2 Injaldson, Dragon Flight’s Warrant Officer, accepted the Top Flight flag on behalf of the flight, marking a proud moment for the flight.

Stay tuned for the date of our next Commanding Officer’s Parade.
