We are a part of the Air Cadet League of Canada, which partners with the Department of National Defense (DND). The League provides an organizational structure to complement the DND, partners with the DND regarding core training, and promotes and encourages youth interested in aviation. The League fosters development of youth in the values of self-confidence, self-discipline and leadership. DND provides support through specific funding and the supply of uniforms and training materials for the cadets. There are no registration fees to join; however, a large portion of the program is funded solely through fundraising organized by the Sponsoring Committee. Your generous donation supports the following activities including, but not limited to:
- Flight Simulators
- Range Activities
- Effective Speaking Competitions
- Sport Activities including Curling, Volleyball, Swimming, Bowling
- Remote Control Planes
- Musical Band
- Biathlon
- Learning Survival Skills
These funds also help with food costs during training exercises.
