Cadets from 41 Hercules had the opportunity to participate in the 41 Hercules Annual Mess Dinner which is a formal, social, and ceremonial dinner with military tradition. These dinners are structured and enjoyable while promoting camaraderie in the unit. Holding these dinners gives the cadets a chance to be a part of some air force traditions.
Held annually, these dinners are a familiar tradition for returning cadets but for the first year cadets it is a brand new learning experience. Lacking the experience did not prevent the first year cadets from embracing the traditions and participating in the entertainment with enthusiasm.
WOII Alapizco-Bonardel shared his bronze winning speech from the Provincial effecting speaking competition. After the ceremonial aspect of the dinner the night proceeded with cadet promotions as well as several awards. The overall Top Flight for 2024-2025 was awarded to Dragon Flight and each member of the flight were able to collect squadron branded aviators. Awards and promotions will continue at the 41 Hercules Annual Ceremonial Review which will be held at the HMCS Queen Building on June 4th.
