2nd Annual “Hunger Games: Quacking Jay” – FTX — Details & Sign-up
The 2nd annual Quacking Jay field training exercise is occurring 2-4 June at Camp Saskadet. Here are the details you need to know.

Volunteers Needed
We also need parent volunteers for this trip to assist with monitoring stations on Saturday. If you are able to come help out, please complete the signup sheet as a volunteer.

Kit List & Medical Consent
Please see attached file for kit list of what to and what not to bring. Also as part of the kit list is a medical consent form that must be filled out and returned prior to Friday night departure.
Survival Day Signup

This is open to ALL cadets. As this is considered mandatory training for ALL, you should make every effort to be there.

Dress
It’s spring and as such its likley to be cool in the morining, warming up later on, so dress appropriately and in layers. Further, you must wear closed-toe shoes.
MRE’s are the meal of the day. If you have dietary restrictions, please ensure you indicate them on the signup form.
Spring Gliding Signup
The Spring Gliding date is 13 May at CFB Moose Jaw. Here is what you need to know.
Who Should Attend
This is open to ALL cadets, however we will limit the number attending to around 35 for fall and 35 for spring. Cadets who have not been up before will receive priority.

Bus Departs: 08:00 (AM)
Return Information
Bus Arrives at Armoury: ~17:00 (5pm)
Dress & Medical
Remember it is likely to be a cool morning, so dress appropriately and in layers. Further, you must wear closed-toe shoes. Cadets not dressed appropriately will be be able to attend as it is a safety issue.
Returning cadets, you MUST have your completed medical submitted to Captain Drew to be eligible.
A box lunch is provided by CFB Mess. It usually contains a meat and an egg-salad sandwich along with fruit, vegetables and drink. If you have dietary restrictions outside this, please ensure you submit details when you sign up.
