Fires and Shelters and Snares …oh my! The 2015 SurvivAir competition was held at Camp Saskadet over the weekend. The weather was fantastic, the competition was fierce and the cadets were amazing! Participants were tested in their knowledge of 8 areas; fires, snares, signals, fitness, orienteering, biathlon and first aid.
Team 41 has done us proud! Not only were they excellent ambassadors for our squadron, with their positive attitudes, willingness to help out and sportsmanship… they also proved their survival prowess. They received first place in shelters, fires, first aid and were awarded top overall team!!!
A BIG thanks to everyone who came to try-outs and practices and to those coached the team. We look forward to doing this again next year!
