On February 14th level two cadets as part of their citizenship class went on a tour of the STARS helicopter at the STARS hangar.
STARS (Shock Trauma Air Rescue Service) is a Canadian not for profit helicopter air ambulance organization which provides rapid and specialized emergency care and transportation of critically ill and injured patients using the H145 Helicopter.
Level two cadets had the opportunity to tour the inside of the helicopter as well see first hand the emergency equipment on board. Cadets had the opportunity to ask questions and speak with both flight paramedics and pilots. Thank you STARS air ambulance for your time and sharing your knowledge.
