REGINA, SK. – Level 5 Cadets at 41 Hercules Royal Canadian Air Cadet Squadron participate in a Senior Development Day at the Saskatchewan Sport’s Hall of Fame, on 13 September 2025.

Level 5 Cadets at 41 Hercules squadron participated in the Senior Development Day, designed to strengthen their leadership abilities and expand their instructional skills. They explored a range of topics essential for leadership, including proper lesson planning, strategies for managing a classroom, and effective communication.

In addition to these practical skills, the day emphasized personal development, encouraging Cadets to build confidence and reflect on their own leadership and learning styles. By combining hands-on training with guided discussions, the event equipped the level 5 Cadets with the knowledge and confidence needed to display proper deportment, teach engaging lessons and become role models for the younger Cadets in the squadron.

Warrant Officer First Class Sophia Greenley, a Level 5 Cadet at 41 Hercules squadron, attended this event stating “It was informative and enjoyable. I particularly enjoyed seeing all the Level 5 Cadets enhance and reflect on their different skills and abilities, making the group more aware of each other’s strengths and weaknesses.”

The Cadet Program is open to anyone between the ages of 12-18 years old and aims to promote physical fitness, leadership, and teamwork. Cadets learn useful skills in order to become successful leaders and role models. Contact 41 Hercules Royal Canadian Air Cadet Squadron, at 306-757-2252 or email info@41hercules.ca to join.
