Rider Football Flag Party:
If you wish to carry a flag and then watch the rider game(free) on Friday there are 7 open spots.
You MUST signup before 8PM Wed night if you wish to do this game.
The Cadets doing the game will meet around 6:50PM at the South East gate on Friday Night. Capt Giesinger will meet you there.
You require FULL UNIFORM.
If you wish to stay for the game, you can bring a change of clothes to change into after the game. Don’t lose your uniform.

Range:
The range is openning for the 2014-15 season this Sunday. Any Cadets (in any level) who wish to come out and shoot on Sunday from 12:30pm-3:00pm at the Armoury please signup. There will only be 9 open spots for this Sunday so signup early. All NEW CADETS will be given extra lessons in Procedures, Parts of the rifle and techniques prior to shooting.
What is range? Range is the Marksmanship (shooting) program. Capt Sweitzer runs a recreational and competitive shooting program for the cadets. The cadets are taught how to safely handle and shoot the Daisy .188 air rifle. Some will go on the compete against other cadets from around the province and Canada. No experience is required as you will be taught everything you need to know.
Biathlon Training:
Thanks to those that came to practice on Friday. Those cadets interested in participating in Biathlon we will be practicing Saturday mornings at 9:00 at Douglas park hill until further notice. Don’t forget to do your core strengthening and get out and run during the week.
Biathlon team will be shooting on Sunday from 1130am-1230pm at the Armoury.
Fall Field Ex:
The fall field ex is scheduled for 10-12 October at Camp Saskadet. Please mark your calendars. All cadets are strongly urged to participate. Signup sheets are out now.
Effective Speaking:
The Air Cadet League holds an annual Effective Speaking competition. If you’d like to take part in this activity (and work on bettering you skills very important life skill), please see Lt K. Drew for a package with all the details.
Ground School:
Starting Oct 5 from 2-5pm for all those interested in applying for flying or gliding courses this year or want to get a jump on studying for the exam in the future. If you would like to borrow a copy of the text book from the squadron talk to Capt Giesinger.
Supply:
As per the e-mail sent out last week, please DO NOT talk to Capt Sweitzer about new uniform parts. There is a form on the signup table and was e-mailed to you. Please fill it out and deposit it in the box provided. Capt Sweitzer will create a schedule and let you know when to come to supply. Please note what size you have so that the appointment can be scheduled easier.
Ordered parts have arrived. Cadets will be called down to supply to receive their kit starting this week.
Attendance:
Cadets, please remember to check in nightly at he signup table with Capt Sweitzer to get your attendance taken. Please also signup for activities at that time also. Please remember to bring your own pen.

Vimy Ridge:
