Winter Dress:
The cadets will start wearing their full uniform (including Tunic) on 5 November when we switch into winter dress.
Level ones, the name tags are in and will be available for pickup at the Attendance table.
Range
There will be Range on Sunday from 12-3PM. There are 9 open spots so if you are interested in shooting, please signup….at start of parade night.
Sports
There will be floor hockey or basketball on Sunday from 3:30-4:30pm. If you are interested sigup on Wed Night
Photo Club
There is photo club for those Cadets interested on Sunday 12:30-1:30pm. Signup if interested
Improv
There is Improv on Sunday from 1:30-2:30. Signup if interested.
Drill Team
There is a drill team practice Sunday from 2:30-3:30pm.
Flight Sims
There will be flight sims from 3-5pm Sunday Signup if interested. Space is limited.
Ground School:
Those cadets that are taking Ground School, it will run from 6-9pm on Sunday.
Remembrance Day:
Remembrance Day is on 11 Nov. This parade is mandatory for all Cadets. Full uniform if you have it or NEATLY dressed.
Cadets will meet at the Brandt Centre (use the Players Entrance on south side of building) between 9:30am-9:45am. Cadets will meet Capt Sweitzer at ice level at the base of the stairs at the Players Entrance. The Service starts at 10:00am and should be done around 11:15/11:30am.
Some Cadets will be required to assist with the offortory (instructions will be give to the Cadets prior).
Parents are strongly urged to stay. If you are not planning to stay, Please be back at the Brandt centre at 11:15am to pickup your Cadet. Please keep in mind that that there is limited space in the parking lot for driving, parking and picking people up due to all the construction. Keep this in mind as it will take you time to get back in after 11am.
Vimy Ridge:
As advertised last year, the Easter Trip in 2017 will be to London and France. The main objective is to participate in the Vimy Ridge 100th anniversary. If you are interested, please see Lt K. Drew for details and register on-line at EF Tours site.
